Moz's 0–100 score predicting the ranking potential of a specific page, based on its backlink profile.
Page Authority (PA) is a metric by Moz that predicts how well a specific page will rank in search results, on a 0–100 scale. It's the page-level equivalent of Domain Authority and reflects the quality and quantity of backlinks pointing directly to that URL.
Page Authority is Moz's equivalent to Ahrefs' URL Rating (UR). A page with high Page Authority benefits from direct link equity flowing to that specific URL, giving it a ranking advantage for target keywords — independently of the overall domain's authority.
Building page-level authority for priority landing pages — key commercial pages, pillar content, data assets — is an important component of B2B link building strategy. Internal links from high-authority pages also contribute to a page's authority.
As with Domain Authority, Page Authority is a Moz metric, not a Google metric. It's useful for relative comparison and competitive analysis, but shouldn't be treated as an absolute measure of ranking potential.
